Headquartered in New York City, Yihai North America supports students, teachers, and local medical and educational institutions through the G2 Foundation. Through our real estate investments, we create homes near Cornell University, the University of Maryland, the University of New Hampshire and New York University.

Yihai North America gives back through the G2 Foundation, supporting students, teachers and the local medical and educational institutions that strengthen our communities.

G2 Foundation

Initiated by Yihai

The G2 Foundation is dedicated to advancing education, supporting students, teachers and the wider education community.

G2 has donated US$2 million in total to local medical and educational institutions. Working with the National Committee on U.S.–China Relations, it has long funded the U.S.–China Teacher Exchange Program, the Student Leaders (Presidential Scholars) Exchange, university student associations and community initiatives, sponsoring 100 outstanding American and Chinese teachers and students to study and work in each other’s countries, raising teaching standards and deepening friendship between educators of both nations.

U.S.–China Teacher Exchange Program

Run since 2002 by the National Committee on U.S.–China Relations and the China Education Association for International Exchange, the program sends American teachers to teach in China for a full academic year and welcomes Chinese teachers into American classrooms, so educators on both sides can share practices and bring new perspectives home. G2 sponsored the program from July 2012 to June 2013.

Student Leaders Exchange (Presidential Scholars)

Each year since 2014, G2 has sponsored a select group of U.S. Presidential Scholars, among America’s most outstanding high school graduates, to study and travel in China, building friendship and understanding among the next generation of leaders.

Health & Care

Donations to local medical institutions, and training programs that support seniors and people with disabilities.
